Host IPS Advanced Training and Best Practices The Host Intrusion Prevention Advanced and Best Practices class is intended for users who have already installed HIPS and had a chance to work with the basic deployment of the agent to workstations. This class starts with covering and configuring all general policies and the client GUI. Next it covers all aspects of the IPS module and the correct method of deploying IPS in an organization. The following section covers the interface that the client sees on the workstation itself. After finishing with IPS, discuss and create different firewall rules. Also covered is the different modes of adaptive, learning, and on mode. The last thing this class covers is the application blocking and best practices of deploying this module. VirusScan Best Practices Training This class covers the basic installation, deployment, and configuration of VS 8.7i. Class discusses the deployment parameters and options. It covers the installation of the extensions and checking in the new package into ePO. The next section covers all the different modules of VirusScan 8.7i: Buffer Overflow, Email, On-Access, On-Demand, Access Protection, and the files menu with GUI options.
